CIGNA joins Healthcode electronic patient billing

From the week commencing 4 February 2008, it will be possible to bill electronically through E-practice biller to the insurer CIGNA. The following insurers are now accepting specialist electronic bills through Epractice biller:
BUPA
AXA PPP
SLH
NUHC
HEALIX
BCWA
HSA
EXETER FRIENDLY SOCIETY
CIGNA
Healthcode are also working closely with PruHealth and other insurers in an attempt to get them on board with electronic billing. There will be a new system release from Healthcode soon, which will change some aspects of the system and users will be written to shortly.
