Medical accounts insurance status

Using Healthcode’s VEDA for billing means you’ll always know the status of your invoices Private medical professionals with their own practices know how irritating the medical billing process can be. With traditional billing methods, you send off invoices to private medical insurers and then wait weeks to receive payment. During this time, it’s doubtful that you’ll hear anything about your bill unless there is some problem with it. Your bill could be have been lost somewhere along the way and you’d never know it with a traditional system. All you can do is wait and hope your payments arrive from insurers at some point in the future. Fortunately, there is a better way to perform medical billing that doesn’t include sitting around and hoping your bills are processed. With electronic billing, you can be certain your invoices will arrive at the appropriate insurance companies because they are sent directly to insurers’ inboxes using the Internet. And with certain e-billing systems, like Healthcode’s VEDA programme, you’ll even be able to track your invoicing with receipts the system provides, so you’ll always know the status of your payments. VEDA creates invoices based on collected patient billing information. These invoices are all automatically translated into the terms that each insurance group works with, so bills can be processed without then need for invoice clarification. In other words, bills that go through VEDA are validated before they are released to insurers; this guarantees your invoices will be put together accurately. If an insurer does need to clarify something on your invoice, however, it’s easy for him or her to communicate with you through the VEDA system. Secure communication can be done online using the VEDA interface. All of these precautionary measures are the reasons e-billers like VEDA are so much faster than traditional billing methods; there is almost zero possibility that your bill will be sent back because of insufficient information. Whenever VEDA creates an invoice, it files a receipt too. With this receipt, you’re able to locate your bills in the system to determine if they’ve been approved and paid. Using VEDA means no more waiting for payment without any knowledge of when that payment will arrive. And although you can track your invoice through every step of the process, with e-billing you won’t be waiting long for your payments to arrive. Using VEDA, you can expect your bills to be paid within two weeks. A cheque will arrive at your office just as it would using a traditional invoicing system, only it can come as much as a month earlier because of the speed of the e-billing process.
